Abandoned-cart rescue

An agent reviews your store's abandoned checkouts, segments them by customer history and cart value, and drafts recovery email sequences per segment in your brand voice — then lands one approval where you approve every email before anything is sent.

What it installs

Agents 1

  • Cart Rescue Agent

Turns abandoned checkouts into recovered orders by segmenting carts, drafting on-brand recovery sequences for human approval, and keeping the revenue log honest.

Workflows 1

  • Abandoned-cart rescue

Review the abandoned checkouts, segment the carts, draft per-segment recovery sequences, approve every email, then send and log the results.

Documents 2

  • Recovery rules & brand voice

The brand voice, discount policy, timing, and suppression rules every recovery email must respect.

  • Recovered revenue log

A living record of every rescue cycle: carts reviewed, sequences sent, orders recovered, and revenue attributed per segment.

Goals 1

  • Abandoned carts turned into measured revenue

Every abandoned checkout gets a segmented, on-brand recovery sequence — approved before sending — and every recovered order is counted.

Skills 3

  • cart-segmentation

Turn raw abandoned-checkout data into clean segments — first-time vs returning, high vs low value — with suppression applied first and a per-segment summary of what people abandon.

  • recovery-sequence-writing

Draft per-segment recovery flows in the brand voice — first email 1-4 hours after abandonment, three emails over three days, escalating reminder to objections to incentive-only-if-margins-allow — with A/B subjects and one job, one CTA per email; drafts only. • recovered-revenue-tracking

Attribute completed orders to recovery sequences under the log's stable attribution rule, update the per-segment recovery table, and surface which segments and steps actually earn.

Schedules 1

  • Abandoned-cart review

Reviews new abandoned checkouts and drafts recovery sequences daily.

Folders 1

Requirements

What this playbook expects to do its job. Task Machine does not verify these — you decide whether your setup is ready.

  • Browser access to your store — The agent works in your store's dashboard — Shopify, WooCommerce, or whichever platform you run — through the browser to review abandoned checkouts and order history, and pauses for your approval before any email is sent. Until you connect it, it works from attached exports and the relevant documents.
  • Abandoned checkout data — An abandoned-checkout export (CSV) or dashboard access showing, per cart: contents, value, the customer's email, when it was abandoned, and whether the customer has ordered before — plus any recovery emails you already send, so sequences do not double up.
