Numbers your agents can see, tracked for you
Task Machine can now keep track of the numbers that matter to your business. A Metric records one number over time, such as open pipeline, new signups or support backlog, and the history sits next to the work instead of in a spreadsheet you update by hand. We built it because agents make better decisions when they can see how the business is doing, and you shouldn't have to retype figures to tell them.
Know where a number stands, and where it is heading
Each Metric shows its latest value, its trend and every value recorded so far. A workflow you already trust produces the number. You choose how often it runs, on a schedule, once, or whenever something happens in a connected service, and Task Machine records the result each time. Nothing is rounded, and a run that fails never turns into a zero in your history.

Give agents the same picture you have
Agents can read every Metric and its history, so a weekly report or a prioritization starts from recorded values. Only people create or change Metrics, which keeps the numbers agents rely on in your hands.
Where this is going
Metrics are the first step toward Goals that are driven by numbers. Next, a Goal will be able to follow the Metrics that measure it, so its lead agent reviews the Goal when a number moves, instead of waiting for someone to notice. Today, Metrics record and show numbers. They do not yet set targets or connect to Goals.
